The Boston Chapter of the User Experience Professionals’ Association (UXPA) is a highly active community for persons with individual and professional interests in usability, user experience design, and their many related fields. For the past 20+ years, they have held their annual conference, which attracts hundreds of professionals nationwide.

In 2021, I was selected to create the event branding of their 20th conference, and their second virtual one due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Initial Concepts

I submitted four concepts with my initial proposal, to help the UXPA Boston Conference panel get a better understanding of what I envisioned this year’s design theme would be. Ideas included: focusing on Boston landmarks, UXPA’s Boston history in celebration of their 20th conference, and coming together during the pandemic.
