BCNC Quincy’s 2nd Annual Family Fun Run

Over this past weekend, the BCNC’s second annual Family Fun Run celebrated the organization’s tenth anniversary of strengthening the Asian and immigrant community in Quincy.

A total of 117 participants joined in person and virtually for a day of community, wellness, and to raise funds to support Asian and new immigrant families.

Thanks to our generous sponsors and donors, we raised $5,765 to support youth leadership programs, adult English classes, and mental health support services for immigrants, especially Asians.

As BCNC Bamboo Circle co-chair, I was on the planning committee for the second annual Quincy Family Fun Run. Weeks of planning culminated in a super fun and successful day including fellow Bamboo Circle members volunteering and running.

Lastly, I would like to thank my employer the American Repertory Theater for donating two of our show tickets for our raffle.
