CBT Proud Unveils 2024 Pride Month Installation & Programming

CBT’s internal DEI council, CBT Proud, unveiled their annual in-office installation and announced their programming in honor of June being Pride Month. As Graphic Designer at CBT, I was the lead branding and installation designer on this year’s endeavor following the theme Making Space.

Installation

The idea of this piece was to take up space in a bold way using interlocking boards of various sizes and colors, highlighting diversity in the LGBTQIA+ community and how they are all connected. Several boards are dedicated to the four focuses this year: community, workplace, home/family, and policy.

Programming

June will feature weekly presentations by various members or allies of the LGBTQIA+ community and fun events, including:

  • P. Carl: Trans Advocate and Author/Playwright of memoir and play (based on the memoir) Becoming a Man

  • Sara Arian, MD, MSc: Fertility Doctor at Boston IVF and Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School

  • The Pryde: Tour the first LGBTQ-affirming affordable senior housing development in New England

  • Greater Boston PFLAG: A local organization that advocates for and advances equity and societal affirmation of LGBTQIA+ people by building and strengthening loving families, safe communities, and a diverse and inclusive society

  • Annual Drag Bingo: All proceeds go towards Greater Boston PFLAG
